Northern Weightlifting Contests 2nd round of NWL Schools will be held at Weights and Cakes, The kings Road, Southwick, Sunderland SR2 8PD on Saturday 28th September. Northern Weightlifting Calendar of Events for 2024/2025 Due to the high cost of Living the Schools events will be run separately for each region in order to reduce the cost of the Competitions and travel expenses for the Athletes and Parents.
Northern Masters 2024 - November 16th - Raich Carter Sports Centre, Hendon, Sunderland
World Masters 2024 - September 5th-14th - Rovaniemi, Finland
British Masters 2025 - 21st - 23rd February - Bangor University
European Masters 2025- 2nd - 10th may Grand Blue Fafa Resort, Golem 1000, Golem, Durres Albanian.
World Masters 2025 - August - September 2025 - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
A number of events are still awaiting confirmation of date and venue. Whilst we will endeavour to ensure that these dates and venues do not change we reserve the right to amend or update them where circumstances dictate.
